Wine Club FAQ’s

·        Is there a joining fee?

There is no joining fee. The commitment to the Koomooloo Crew wine club is a minimum one dozen wines delivered twice a year in May and November.

 

·        Why do I need to supply my Date of Birth?

Due to the nature of our business, being the sale of alcohol, we need to ensure that you are over the age of 18 and therefore require your full birthdate.

 

·        How often do I receive my wine shipment?

As a Koomooloo Crew wine club member you get to choose your own wine selection. You will receive your personalised dozen twice a year, in May and November.

 

·        Can I change my wine selection?

Yes. Once your membership is activated you can log into your account and make changes to your wine selection. You can receive the same selection or choose to make changes prior to each delivery. All changes must be made one week prior to the 1stof the month of delivery (May or November). To make changes you must log into your account and update within the wine club area of the portal, if you email your changes please ensure these are sent at least a week prior to the delivery month. Changes made after the 1stday of the delivery month (May or November) may not be accepted. Change of shipping details made after this date may incur a charge.

 

·        Will I be contacted by Philip Shaw Wines prior to the processing and shipment of my delivery?

Yes. You will receive an email prior to delivery. This email will prompt you to login to your membership account and check all your details including wine selection, delivery address or credit card details. All changes need to be made prior to the last day of the month prior to the delivery month. Your wine club portal will be locked in preparation to processing prior to the 1st day of the delivery month. No changes can be made online once the portal has been locked and your details will not be able to be changed online and you will need to emailclub@philipshaw.com.au. Changes are the portal is locked may not be made.

·        How are my credit card details recorded?

Your credit card is stored online with a secure third-party payment gateway. To make changes to your credit card you must log into your membership account.

 

·        When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be processed within the first three weeks of the delivery month (May or November). You will receive an email prior to the delivery month (May or November) which will serve as notice of the upcoming wine club and credit card processing. Once you receive an invoice, your wine delivery has been processed. 

·        As a member will I be charged for shipping within Australia?

No. All members receive free shipping throughout Australia. Our preferred courier is Aramex (formerly Fastway) however we also use Australia Post when required. When signing up please ensure you note any special instructions that you may have for delivery. Please note that any changes to your shipping details after the 1stday of the delivery month may incur additional charges. Please email us atclub@philipshaw.com.aufor more details. ·        Can I pick up my wine club delivery from the Cellar Door?

Yes. When you sign up you will be given an option to select ‘pick up from the cellar door’. Select ‘Yes’ to confirm this. Current members can make changes by logging into their accounts and changing the selection within the Wine Club members portal.

 

·        Can I place my Koomooloo Crew membership on hold?

Yes. As a member you can request to have your membership placed on hold by email. Your membership can be placed on hold for up to 12 months or two shipments.

 

·        How do I receive my discount on purchases other than my wine club shipment?

To receive your discount online, you need to login to your account. All purchases made while logged in will receive the 20% member’s discount. While visiting the Cellar door, please let the staff know that you are a Koomooloo Crew wine club member prior to making your purchase.

 

·        How do I book for wine tastings and winery tours?

All members are required to book their tastings online. To receive your complimentary glass of sparkling please note that you are a Koomooloo Crew member. For all member winery tours you are required to book at least 5 days ahead. To book these tours please email club@philipshaw.com.au

 

·        How do I get my complimentary glass of wine?

To receive your complimentary glass of wine you must book and pay for your wine tasting online. You can choose any tasting available in Cellar door at the time of your visit.

 

·        How do I cancel my membership?

All cancellation requests must be received in writing. All cancellations must be received prior to the 1stday of the processing month (May or November) otherwise the cancellation will come into effect after that shipment has been processed.
