Maxime Croiset is a French-born Michelin trained chef, specialising in French cuisine with a modern twist. He draws his experience from the last decade, working some of the worlds finest food establishments – Michelin-starred restaurants in France and England, including Michel Sarran in Toulouse (two stars) and Pollen Street Social in London (one star). When he moved to Australia, he worked under Manu Feildel at the one-hatted L’Etoile, before spending time at Steel Bar & Grill and Public Dining Room.

Recently, he moved to the Dandenong Ranges where he has spent the last three years leading the kitchen at the oldest winery in Victoria, Yering Station. Maxime and wife Lauren, now run a stunning French Rotisserie (Mon Poulet) just North of the Dandenong Ranges in Croydon, serving an indulgent French fare of food (all takeaway!) to Melbourne suburbia.

Having grown up in a first generation Italian/Australian household, Carmelo was constantly exposed to authentic Italian food. As a child he became passionate about cooking and keeping those traditions alive. After completing his apprenticeship in the late 80’s, Carmelo worked and travelled throughout Italy where he immersed himself in the diverse regional cooking styles. Upon his return to Australia, he set out to own and run restaurants with his two brothers – today they own Cipri Italian and Barbetta.

Cipri Italian offers a truly authentic Italian dining experience in a stylish and contemporary setting. It is an extension of the Cipri family dining room with outstanding service and food.

Barbetta is casual and spirited – incorporating a little bit of Italy into every day. Comprising of a cafe, gourmet food store, a food workshop space and spuntini bar in the evenings.

Koomooloo 30th Anniversary Lunch

It’s been 30 years since Philip Shaw planted our Koomooloo Vineyard and began the journey in establishing Orange as the premium wine region we’re known as today.
We’re celebrating this special occasion with a luncheon at the vineyard and winery.

Saturday 26th October, 2019 commencing Midday.

$175 per person. Your ticket includes a delicious long lunch featuring local produce, paired with our best current and museum wines. Return coach transfer from Orange CBD is provided for this event.
